| NAMIBIA PLAINS GAME
& DANGEROUS GAME SAFARIS
The main hunting area is 125 miles from Windhoek International Airport, where the hunt will take place on a 109,000 acre privately owned ranch. This Professional Hunter only caters to 20 hunting clients per hunting season to ensure that his clients receive only the best service and attention, while ensuring the highest quality trophies. They also have another 25,000 plus acres for Bowhunting. The main concession stretches over open veld in the highlands, then goes up & over the rocky mountains with its breathtaking view over the pro-Namib. Sixteen species of antelope and other game can be hunted without traveling huge distances, including the very rare Hartman Mountain Zebra, Leopard and Klipspringer.
The hunting season starts officially on the 1st of February until the end of November. The best hunting time is from May to September. The most common game available is Kudu, Oryx, Springbuck, Hartmann Zebra, Klipspringer, Baboon, and Leopard. Other species include Steenbok, Duiker, Blesbok, Hartebeest, and a number of predators like Cheetah, Lynx, and Black-backed Jackal occur on the concession. Each safari is specially adapted to provide choice and variety of hunting methods. These include using 4x4-hunting vehicles with approaching and tracking by foot or waiting for game from a blind. Providing transport for the hunt, fully equipped Land Cruisers are used to take you to the hunting area. To back up the hunt they've got well-trained trackers and dogs to assist with a possibly wounded animal. After the hunt, a team of skilled skinners will ensure that your trophies are well prepared and taken care of.
