KANSAS WHITETAIL HUNTS
It is no secret that Kansas is one of the Nation’s leaders for trophy whitetails, specifically the south central and southwestern regions. More Boone and Crockett qualifiers come out of these small game management units than most entire states. This Muzzleloader hunt offers a unique opportunity at hunting monster whitetails very early in the year. The bucks are in bachelor groups and very predictable. The bachelor groups are patterned and stands and blinds are set accordingly. The targeted areas are usually alfalfa and corn fields where the bucks typically have a set pattern between feeding and bedding areas. Hunters proficient with iron-sights, will have a very good chance at harvesting 145-155B&C class bucks and a 170+ class buck is a very real possibility. This hunt takes place in Units 15 and 16. This is a statewide draw hunt. Archery hunting units are agricultural areas that vary form CRP grass with brushy draws to thick river bottom hardwoods. Bow-stands are positioned on transitional trails between feeding and bedding areas. This hunt takes place during the peak of the rut and the action can be amazing. Hunters will have an excellent opportunity at harvesting Pope and Young class animals and these areas produce many Boone and Crockett qualifiers every year. Archers will need to apply for the statewide draw. Hunters who are unsuccessful in the drawing will be able to purchase landowner permits. Rifle hunters will have a great chance at harvesting 150+ class bucks and a very real chance of taking home a 170+ class buck.

NEBRASKA WHITETAIL & MULE DEER HUNTS
The Whitetail hunts take place on over 30,000 acres in the Platte and Plains regions in the Nebraska panhandle. The Plains region consists primarily of vast rolling hills and sparse timber, adjoining irrigated corn and alfalfa. The Platte region consists of dense river bottom overlooked by rough cap-rock bluffs with irrigated alfalfa as the primary food source. This hunt is scheduled during the peak of the rut. This area offers a very good chance at 130-150B&C class bucks and have produced many 170+B&C deer in the past. The Mule Deer hunts take place on expansive tracts of acreage in several different units in the Nebraska panhandle. The Sandhill regions consist primarily of vast rolling hills with sparse timber, adjoined by irrigated corn and alfalfa. The deer in this open country move great distances, sometimes several miles, to and from food sources. Stands and blinds are positioned overlooking vast expanses of country offering a very unique hunt. These vast ranches are large enough to support a good number of mature bucks. Over the past two seasons each one of our clients have taken great trophies. Like the Whitetails, these Mule Deer are in full-rut and very visible in mid November.

OKLAHOMA WHITETAIL HUNTS
Oklahoma has quickly become a premier Whitetail destination, specifically the northwest quadrant of the state. These hunts take place in four Northwestern counties, located near the Kansas border, and are the best ranches in the area. The terrain is very diverse, varying from dense River bottoms, to CRP fields, to rough Cedar canyons. These hunts offer a very good chance at 125-145B&C bucks and have taken several 170+ bucks on past hunts. Licenses can be ordered over the phone or internet with a credit card. Rifle season is scheduled during the peak of the rut and the bucks are on the move, which makes for an exciting hunt with a lot of action. The terrain offers multiple stand/blind setups which can offer a very diverse hunt. Most hunters are positioned overlooking transitional funnels between feeding and bedding areas. We harvest some great bucks in these areas, proving this hunt as one of the most popular among our clients. Don’t overlook our muzzleloader season in Oklahoma. Northwest Oklahoma is home to the states largest bucks and many bruisers are taken each year during this time. The terrain varies from thick river bottoms to large canyon country with dense cedar draws. This is a transitional time of the year for our bucks. This hunt is scheduled at the beginning of the rut and the mature bucks become very active and begin harassing does. Muzzleloader stands are positioned near feeding and bedding areas within 100 yards of the primary travel routes. Our best buck to date scored 204 7/8.

TEXAS WHITETAIL HUNTS
Texas has long been known for trophy whitetails. This outfitter has exclusive hunting rights on some very large ranches in the panhandle region. The terrain is primarily vast, open range with dense creek and river bottoms, which funnel the deer. Due to the difficulty of getting access to these private ranches, the deer have received little or no hunting pressure, resulting in an above average number of mature bucks and an excellent buck:doe ratio. Hunters will have a great chance at taking 140+ class bucks with 150-170+ bucks taken annually. The November dates are during the peak of the rut and in December after the long rut, they typically target food sources.
