| ALASKA CARIBOU HUNTS
Our guided Alaska Caribou hunts take place in the Brooks Range where these hunting camps make for a truly Spectacular hunting Trip. You will explore and have the opportunity to hunt over 2000 square miles of the pristine Western Arctic Brooks range bordering the Gates of the Arctic National Park. The key to this outfitter's success is Location! Location! Location! and not over hunting the area as they operate 3 separate camps in addition to the main lodge to accommodate hunters. Usually 4 hunters will hunt from the main lodge and the others fly to remote Caribou outcamps. You will be hunting the largest and most consistent herd of Caribou in Alaska. They are flying daily throughout our area to keep on top of our Caribou herds. They have hunted the same location for 30 years and the caribou have come every year like clock work with the first migration starting August 1or 2nd crossing the Colville River and heading south across the Brooks range through numerous mountain passes. The key to Caribou hunting is being mobile and able to move camps if necessary to intercept the migrating herd. 70% of the Caribou are shot within 3 miles of the main lodge. The Western Arctic Herd of Alaska Caribou is the largest in Alaska growing to over 500,000 animals.
